Johnstown Dollar General closed after failing health inspection
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- The Dollar General in Johnstown on Bridge Street is closed until further notice after it failed a health inspection.
According to the Department of Agriculture, the store was out of compliance after an inspection Tuesday.
According to the report, more than 200 rat droppings were found in the back storage area of the Dollar General and on top of products.
Inspectors said they also found two dead rats in snap traps.
The Department of Health said the store need to empty out its storage area, and clean and sanitize.
The store cannot reopen until it is approved by the Department of Health.
